Ingalls Shipbuilding
Employing more than 11,000 employees, Ingalls Shipbuilding is Mississippi’s largest manufacturing employer and a key part of the Gulf Coast economy. For 87 years, Ingalls Shipbuilding has designed, built, and maintained the Navy’s surface combatants and amphibious ships. Today the team is constructing three classes of ships, modernizing the Zumwalt class and was recently awarded to perform FF(X) class frigate lead yard support activities, further expanding its portfolio of work.

Newport News Shipbuilding has for more than 140 years built ships that have served the nation in peace and war, in times of adversity and in times of abundance. The legacy of "Always Good Ships," includes the design, construction, overhaul and repair of more than 800 ships for the U.S. Navy and commercial customers.

HII's Mission Technologies division develops integrated solutions that enable today's connected, all-domain force. Capabilities include C5ISR systems and operations; the application of AI and machine learning to battlefield decisions; defensive and offensive cyberspace strategies and EW; unmanned autonomous systems; LVC solutions; fleet modernization; and critical nuclear operations.
