We build ships for the warfighter, and they depend on us to get it right. That responsibility is at the heart of what we do.
Your skill, your commitment to first-time quality, and your dedication is a part of every ship we build. From the craftsmen and women on the deckplate to the teams who plan, design, support and lead the work, it takes all of us to deliver ships our sailors and marines can count on.
Labor Day gives us an opportunity to rest and recognize the people behind that work. I hope you use your day off to step away, spend time with those who matter most and enjoy the life you’ve built.
Because it’s just as important as the ships.
Thank you for all you do to build the fleet – the Navy and the nation are depending on us. Have a safe Labor Day.
