Non-Conforming Material
In the event that non-conformities or latent defects are discovered after delivery and acceptance by the purchaser, the supplier shall provide to the Purchaser (Newport News Shipbuilding) immediate verbal notice and subsequent written documentation (i.e. Letter of Advisement) to LettersofAdvisement@hii-nns.com and the address below, of the deficient condition in sufficient detail to enable timely action to preclude adverse impact on ship or personnel safety, or equipment performance.
